Villa Amonita

This house in Lanzarote, Spain, was renovated with a strong focus on maintaining the white and green colours, while also being mindful of its natural surroundings. The Villa Amonita project, winner of the second edition of the APE Grupo Architecture Awards, included the addition of more bedrooms, an enlarged bathroom with large windows, and an open-plan living area that combines the lounge, kitchen, and dining room. The Fayenza collection, in its White and Green versions, was used in the bedrooms, bathrooms, and the outdoor shower, adding colour, beauty, and a sense of composition. A yoga studio and a terrace with an outdoor shower were also added, and the living area was connected to a terrace featuring a dining table and a barbecue kitchen next to a lava stone wall. The villa is energy-efficient, using solar heating for water and air conditioning only for extreme temperatures. Most of the building materials and furniture are locally sourced, with a few vintage pieces imported from the Czech Republic.
