Appartamento Spagnolo

Milán, ItaliaHousing

The Appartamento Spagnolo project presents a conceptual home that celebrates the excellence of Spanish design within a setting of great historical and architectural value: Palazzo Castiglioni, a landmark of Milanese modernism designed by Giuseppe Sommaruga and built between 1901 and 1904.
Far from being a conventional product showcase, this intervention offers a spatial experience — an architectural and emotional journey that sparks the visitor’s imagination.
In this context, APE Grupo’s ceramic surfaces take on a distinctive role, not only for their visual appeal but also for their ability to engage in dialogue with the architecture and other elements of the space. The selected pieces — all small-format tiles from the Carmen brand — have been installed in an unconventional way, moving beyond their usual functional use to take on a more expressive, scenographic dimension
