APE Grupo strengthens its commitment to design and exclusivity with its debut at Milan Design Week, the world’s most influential event in the interior and habitat sector. The ceramic firm will be part of ‘Appartamento Spagnolo’, an innovative exhibition of Spanish design held at Palazzo Castiglioni. Organised by ICEX under the Interiors from Spain brand, the exhibition is curated by Elle Decor Italia and developed by the prestigious architecture studio Calvi Brambilla.
This space, conceived as a home that embodies the essence of Spanish design, will feature two collections from APE Grupo’s Carmen brand, which specialises in decorative and small-format ceramics: Three D, a geometric proposal inspired by art and architecture; and Reto, part of Esencia Material, an exclusive collection created by renowned interior designer Erico Navazo. In addition, its Ilbagno brand will present the London washbasin collection, reaffirming the versatility and distinctive character of its offering.
Palazzo Castiglioni, built by Giuseppe Sommaruga between 1901 and 1904 and a jewel of Milanese Liberty style, will be the backdrop for this exhibition, where Spanish talent will engage in dialogue with global trends in a setting of sophistication and innovation. Calvi Brambilla, recognised for its avant-garde approach and winner of awards such as the Good Design Award, has designed an exhibition concept that highlights the DNA of the participating brands and the creativity of their designers.
APE Grupo’s presence at this event marks a consolidation of its positioning as a company that embraces differentiation in the ceramic sector. With a trajectory defined by innovation and collaboration with renowned designers, the company has made design one of the strategic pillars of its international growth. In this regard, Milan Design Week presents an ideal platform to connect with architects, interior designers, and industry prescribers worldwide.
For José Miguel Pellicer, CEO of APE Grupo, this first participation in Milan comes at a key moment for the Spanish firm: “At APE Grupo, we don’t just sell ceramics, we create design. We are trend explorers, creators of atmospheres, and partners of architects and interior designers who seek more than just a surface. Each collection is born from a clear vision: to merge innovation and aesthetics, offering pieces that tell stories and define spaces. For us, ceramics are more than just a material; they are a visual language, capable of transforming environments and evoking emotions. That is why we believe Milan Design Week is the perfect showcase for our products.”
